Chelsea's Unbeaten Run Ends in 2-2 Draw with Sheffield United

McBurnie's Late Equalizer Rescues a Point for the Blades

Chelsea Missed Chance to Move Closer to Top of Table

Chelsea's impressive run of form came to an end on Tuesday as they were held to a 2-2 draw by rock-bottom Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Thiago Silva gave the Blues an early lead, but Oli McBurnie's stoppage-time equalizer rescued a point for the Blades. The result leaves Chelsea fourth in the Premier League table, three points behind Manchester United and Arsenal.

Chelsea had won their previous three league games, including an impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester United. However, they were unable to build on that momentum against a determined Sheffield United side.

The visitors took the lead in the 15th minute when Silva headed home a Reece James cross. But Sheffield United equalized just before half-time through Oli Burke.

Chelsea regained the lead in the second half when Conor Gallagher scored from close range. But once again, Sheffield United responded, with McBurnie scoring a dramatic equalizer in the 90th minute.

The draw is a disappointing result for Chelsea, who missed the chance to move within three points of top spot. However, it is a valuable point for Sheffield United, who remain bottom of the table but are now only three points from safety.
