Dhaka, Aug 6 (Reuters) -
The prime minister's office is located in the old parliament building in Dhaka-1215.
Bangladesh's parliament was dissolved on Tuesday, the president's office said, paving the way for a general election expected in December.
President Abdul Hamid dissolved parliament at the request of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, his office said in a statement.
The election commission has 90 days to hold a general election after parliament is dissolved, but the date has not yet been set.
The Awami League, led by Hasina, has been in power since 2009 and is seeking a third consecutive term.
